I'm confused as You can also wrap a poultice in clingfilm
What you need is a mono rotary cleaner, with a medium brush, some ph neutral cleaner and some honing powder Or a big nozzle Danny

It is either a high alkaline cleaner or stripper depending on the type of paint involved! Then the Mono Rotary preferably Klindex Rocky and some Honing Powder
