hi guys just bought a 200gpd ro and a 1000ltr ibc aswell( both used £75 the pair), been twin 25ltr di only at 180ppm for years. am looking forward to saving some money.
my question is this i probably use 1-1.5k ltrs each week,im aware that i may need a booster pump, the 200gpd boosters are too expensive at the minute. could i use a 100gpd pump instead as they're cheaper? if so would it still be effective? or does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives to increase output? and can i use the booster pump to transfer from ibc to van? any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

it probably will work for the 200gpd but maybe not as efficiently ......as for using it to transfer it would take forever!

And no you cant transfer water with it, its made to boost the pressure not flow
(In other words you need a decent flow for the pump to work effectively)

Cheers guys, after some thought I think I can do without a booster pump. I've bought a 1000 ltr Ibc, I work 3 days a week Mon Wed Fri and average about 400 ltrs a day. I estimate around d 290 ltrs production a day with the 200 gpd ro so I reckon I'll just buy a transfer pump instead. Found one on toolstation for £35, 400 watts, 230 volts, 150l/min, gonna go with that.thanks for the replys.
