Just had a phonecall from a woman wanting one window cleaned second floor of a block of flats  ;D
She said the company who cleans them do such a bad job that she can't stand looking out of her living room window. willing to pay me just to clean her window for her.

Nuts. Told her to complain to the company but she didn't want the hassle. I think I know who they are.

Tell her you've got a £5 minimum charge regardless of how few windows she has.

I took on a new job 2 months ago one big window on the 2nd of converted house and I said I had a min charge of £10 the guy was happy to pay as it meant he didn't have to lean out of window how long he is happy to pay I don't know as its only the second time I've cleaned them but for now all good
