Just wondered the other day, is there any agreed way of doing windows WFP? or does everyone just scrub and rinse until they're happy?

Of course not, it's each to there own, but I suppose there's only really 1 way of doing it, scrub and rinse!

I suppose whatever gets the result done the quickest/easiest way is fine.

better to find what suits you rather than do what everyone else does

Make sure you clean the kitchen window and front door cause they're the first ones they notice if you do a crap job

I do all top of frames then the top opener then the sills then either sides and finish with the one under the top opener then a final flit along the sill

You have thrown the cat  amongst the pigeons, asking this forum to agree on anything.

Ask eight window cleaners their view and you will get nine different opinions.
It's a game of three halves!

love it. Don't rinse opaque glass :) do sills if you remember, if not every now and again.
once up and down per brush width with quite a few strokes on top rubber. Rinse until the spider eggs was away

Fast as you can get away with ;D
Couple of times across the top frame.
One agitation up and down across the glass doing frame at same time.
One agitation side to side starting at the top and working down, this serves as a rinse also.
Couple of times across the sill.

Must admit. I have started doing the frames at the same time as glass.
2 times on the sill is OTT. upstairs if they are lucky. Downstairs a quick wipe to get spiders off. First clean gets the mould off.

On four weekly only clean the windows that get full sunshine during the day, clean them all on the next
visit and frosted twice a year.
At this time of the year I just put a note through the door, its dark when they get home from work so they
wont notice and if they do blame it on the bad weather.

2 quick wipes is hardly going to take much time and it helps stop drips so I can cracking on with downstairs.

Are you being serious that you use this technique???
I really need to cut the time I spend per window big time as I still haven't fully shook off that OCD period you go through starting out and if this works to a good standard I'm going to have to try similar.
