If you're not then you're doing something wrong - - I've been getting calls for the last 2 weeks,... and I haven't cleaned windows for 18 months now! All my advertising, website etc is down & I'm still getting calls!

Quite a few connie/gutter cleans but I don't take on new domestics in December for obvious reasons. (Although I've just done a £70 first clean but this was for a long time customer in her new house)

I always found I had to push my advertising in Jan & Feb - but December I was always flat out & usually had my schedule fully booked to busting point before the month even began.

Tends to go quiet here this time of year with the phone and busy in the new year with gutters. Then crazy onwards throughout the spring, to the point of puling your hair out.

Always has been that way. Saying that picked up two new ones this week - £100 8 weekly between them. Off out to price gutter job in 10 mins.

Last day I was out I made my mind up whilst working that I'm not taking anyone on in December. 2 minutes later woman comes up "are you the window cleaner and can you do mine" I laughed and she said I stopped my previous window cleaner as he used dirty water.

Its a very small bungalow same as one round the corner at £7.00, so I asked her is there anything built on the back "oh there's a wee (she's making shoe box size hand gestures) it's small not many windows"
I said I'll have a look and surprise surprise a big feck off cony. How much did he charge? She says £5.00 for the lot. :o
Bye bye.
I was told that someone jacked it as he had transport issues and I have recently picked some up but the day is too short just now so I don't really want any.

Think she's cursed me as I've been off wed/thur/fri with a throat infection and temperature >:(

There's a guy that has quit in my area and I'm getting all his customers but to be honest I haven't time
to do them all before Christmas so most will have to wait until the new year.

Get some vision in your water and you will manage the new customers before Christmas no problem, in fact you will probably be out canvassing looking to take on more work :P  Go on, take the plunge, you will wonder how you ever managed to clean windows with just pure ;D ;D
