What you mean is, 'how much would I have to spend to set myself up with professional equipment and training.'
If you're doing it on the cheap, forget it.

Are you for real? Sort your spelling out, then ask for proper advice

buy a rug doctor and advertise on facebook.

Facebook people are looking for cheap carpet cleaning from businesses who do it on the cheap :)

Better still, advertise on facebook, book some jobs in then hire a Rug Doctor for the day (even cheaper that way😄)

Good idea, he's already got a bucket, so only needs a mop, or could you adapt a squeegee to work as a mop? Or, do without the mop and just squeeze carpets, even cheaper :D
That's called 'Blue Sky' thinking btw, but your screwed on cloudy days 8)

If you were looking for a carpet cleaner would you look for the cheapest cleaner around?

Looks as if you are trying to join them.
God must love stupid people---He made so many.

Not all FB customers are looking for on the cheap.
I advertise on all the local selling sites round here and have had some really good jobs.
Last week small lounge and spotless 3 piece @ £125....could nearly have walked there.
Finding more and more elderly people and recently retired people ringing from my FB advert on the selling pages.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Hey Tom,you should go on a training course, prochem and others do them.It will give you an idea i what you need. You can pick up a 2nd hand porty and a rotary to get you started. But really you should invest in the training  first.

The trouble is you didn't bother to use capitals, punctuation or correct spelling when typing your short question, and then you only asked how to do it cheap.

Carpet cleaning needs real care, and people who can be bothered about detail more than price.

I'm much more into the idea of starting cheap than most people - I did it myself, but prove you're serious - why carpet cleaning, for example?
