Should I use a Carbon Fibre or Glass Fibre pole?

In the Ionic catalogue it looks like a Glass/Carbon Fibre Pole

Many Thanks

Either an Extreme 25' with extension packs or an Extreme 47'.

Bear in mind that carbon conducts electricity though.
