I went out this morning with my sealskins. After ten minutes my hands were frozen so off to Screwfix and £5.99 for the Skytec Argon gloves. 1/6 the price of the sealskins but 10 times better. Got x large but a bit snug, I do have big hands, but not restrictive in any way.
  Do yourself a favour and get some. I know they`ve been recommended on her before but I`m so impressed I had to spread the word.

Never worn gloves yet.. do you leave em on all day include driving van or just when poling also how are they when you wring clothes out etc.?

Wife got me some MASSIVE water proof gloves. Didn't think I would wear them. My split Gardiner pole is cutting my hand, so on they went. Much warmer

Jolka are warm but restrictive .

Any glove will take away sensitivity but working the pole is mostly visual anyway. I don`t wear them all the time, little tip, put them on the seat and sit on them. When you get to the next job they`re toasty warm.  Well they are with the size of my bum.

Yep' would vouch for these too !
bought some last week, screwfix near me only do the x large but thats fine, so easy to take on or off' must say very happy with them and best I've used so far. In fact going to buy another pair whilst still on offer then one pair is always dry and warm on the dashboard heater !

My dad bought 8 pairs after he bought just one pair.

He suffers with his hands and he said these gloves are brilliant.

I tried to buy some and all round my area screwfix have sold out.

I happened to check eBay. And purchased 3 pairs for £5.98 each and had them dropped off at Argos.

I wanted large and they are a perfect fit for me.

Must admit they look and feel great. I purchased the Showa blue gloves and found them useless in cold weather BUT if it's warm ish they are great

i did a trad shop on sat morning and the ladders were frozen on top of the van then moving them about my hands were frozen, luckily i had hot water in the bucket from the van system so stuck my hands in straight after finishing and they hurt like a bitch, the worst pain ive ever felt like razor blades in them!
was so gratefull i dont do many trad jobs any more, gonna get some of these gloves i think too!

I bought a pair of those Skytec gloves this morning.

Having tried loads of different gloves each winter these are the first that are usable for wfp, and warm and waterproof. I can't recommend them highly enough. At £6 - bargain.

The only drawback for some with very large hands is they only seem to do one size which is X large which is fine if your hands are large. If you've got X large hands I think they'd be a bit of a tight fit.

I'll be buying a few more pairs when I go past again tomorrow.

Cotton dipped in rubber. Not fully waterproof and yes cotton on the back.

no good for me then ill stick with my car wash  rubber gaunlets and a thin pair of
builders gloves underneath when it really does go cold.

They are incredibly warm though and the glove is elasticated and goes above the wrist by a few inches.

I worked all day today using them and give them a big thumbs up having tried god knows how many others and various ideas.

I get water on my sleeves never mind he back of my hand , I regulary clean
my brush throughout  the day by running my hands through the brush so
I prefer a proper waterproof glove

I almost brought some seal skin gloves! I watched the review by 'The window cleaning trade' and they said they were not warm.

For years I've used 'Unger Neoprene Gloves' but this year I've brought Unger 'ErgoTec Neoprene Gloves'.

A little bit more expensive then the standard Unger Neoprne. Not sure why as I've only had them for 2 weeks and I've got a hole in them
