Hi All,I have a Gardiner SLX25 pole (its an SLX2)... It seems impossible to tighten the clamps by turning the bolt that you are supposed to turn - All the bolts seem seized.Does anyone else have this problem?Any fixes? Thanks,Andy
If the adjustable nuts are slightly tight then this is usually caused by the nylon in the nylock bolt being slightly tough. It can be sorted by using a small adjustable spanner to turn them. If you tighten them up a few complete turns and then loosen back off a couple of times this will cut the nylon thread in the nylock nut and make them finger adjustable. If this doesn't sort it then please drop me an email Smiley
Yeah have same problem, not really able to adjust "on the fly" by hand. But not so much of an issue, as Alex has suggested, I just carry a mini set of mole grips in the back of the van.
