rectus 21
« on: November 29, 2014, 10:05:16 pm »
Ok so my male end kept popping out when snagged, so I visited my local air products shop. Where I got loads of bits like hose from. Anyway I asked for male and female rectus 21.
Fitted them other day, no problem. Male end went in very easy and smoother than my not so old fitting. Went to do a quote. Got job and did it while there. Turned on pump and it was leaking.NO! Had a few spare rectus parts but no O clips. I tried another male end in and it was fine. Did job with it weeing all over.
Took it back saying my rectus 21 male end was duff as my old one didn't  wee out but new one did. "THATS NOT A RECTUS 21" what is it then? "ITS A CEJN 220" asked who sold me it and I said YOU!. Receipt was for rectus 21. Anyway. This connector is ace. Much smoother. The guy said it would be because it costs a lot more.
Why does everyone use Rectus 21. Even Googled Rectus 14, which looked the same
