Ive had one for a couple of weeks 1st impressions are very good, produces at 60lph even at minimum tap pressure of 40psi but the product water does come out at 70ppm so resin use is high, i do now have a booster pump from Gardiners that im going to try next week to see if things improve further.

70ppm seems high?

Can you give an update after you've fitted boosted pump?

I have the pentair prf RO. With a booster pump it is bringing tds down from 175 to 007. If your tap pressure is under 50 you will need a booster pump in the winter as its very slow without it.

Which booster pump are you using?

This one

Would you mind posting a picture of your setup, showing the pump? I thought the pimp needed to be between the pre filters and RO membrane? But the prf doesn't seem to have a hose between the pre filters and ro membranes to attach the pump?

Chris you need more pressure, get upto 80 psi and it will drop further.

How many ltrs have you run through it ?

I think it's down to supply, are you taking water from an out let near where the mains supply enters your house/property or further away like off a spur then through a hose?

You may find with the low pressure and small bore pipes and hose that Alex's pump is not suitable in giving you enough water and pressure.

I use this (4 yrs now)
http://www.anglianpumping.com/products/dab-jet-pumps-230v
If you ring them they will tell which is the best model I think mine is the 102 it pulls water through the pipe work giving you pressure and volume it was a lifesaver when home based as supply was around 15 psi

As said earlier, get extra prefilters because before you know it the membranes will be contaminated.
