« on: November 28, 2014, 08:26:29 pm »
Wondered if anyone can help?
Last couple of days when I've got in my van it makes a horrible clunking noise when I engage the clutch and brakes together really vibrates on the brake pedal as well .
When I use the brake and clutch on there own they both seem fine....
Anyone know what it might be ?
Thanks

There's play in your drive train. UJ joint, CV joint, Diff or whatever. When you engage your clutch the drive train get pulled along by the movement, when you brake the movement slows it up. Each chage of speed results in a noise from the faulty item when it takes up the slack. Jack a wheel up and rock it back and forth (in gear, engine off ) and see if you can identify exactly what it is.
