Why would it seem like begging ? That really is the most pathetic Scrooge like thing I've heard. - is that your agenda, give a Christmas card, get money in return ?

Cards are given to customers after collection, inside the card is the next clean date for the new year, as customer has paid their is no prompt to "give" anything other than say have a merry Christmas

I only give cards to people I love or care about otherwise to me the whole point and sentiment is lost.

used to give cards but after I have collected money . as i gave the card some would say oh hang on a min and open purse again to give me a tip made me feel as I was begging

No, I don't give anything to custies, except provide a window cleaning service. Even when it's bloody freezing, like now.  :(

Don't refuse tip but don't want customers feeling they have to give a tip just cos they got a card
