How would you clean the tiles at the front of the house?   How much would you charge?

Hypo would shift that. There would be a massive difference, even if the tile still had some black (carbon) staining on them. you wouldn't need to use acid as the customer would be happy with the result.

Would you just apply the hypo, leave for a bit and then rinse off?

Yep.

About a 3 to 1 mix (water to hypo) is what i would use. Obviously use the PPE, watch the splashes in your face etc.. Cover any plants/grass/flowers under the tiles and watch run-off into garden areas.

Be very careful with pressure. These tiles are brittle and can break/drop/loosen very easily.

Hypo, dwell, low pressure rinse is what i would do.

If you're gonna use hypo, see if they want the mossy areas of the tarmac cleaning, otherwise your hypo is gonna run down and soak up in that moss. Therefore if they don't want the tarmac touching and they have a dog or cat, it's a possibility they stand on the moss when you leave.

Personally I would do it off a ladder to save the hassle of a tower.

Gardiners CLX27 Pole with thermo plastic hose(10m)run through with a doubled up ferrule on top to 3/8 to M22 Female, lower end of hose 1/4 to go into inline trigger. Mosmatic swivel to nozzle. Jobs a good 'un. Copyright Trevor Perry first to make.

Apologies mate. You can be a funny twunt at times too. Did I miss read you too?

If there's anyone in the country who's the master at roof cleans it's you. You have them nailed on from the enquiry to sales pitch to finish. I love doing them but I haven't pushed them much this year. Like you mention about about location in the country. The north is not a big market for roof cleans. They're all too skint up here. Cost of living etc, a roof clean is the last thing on their mind.
My focus is on gum removal, block management PW, render soft washing and wet pour. All Niche.
Not even gonna elaborate on Beds. You can't compete with Falch, that's all.

Had a spare hour this afternoon so I stripped my giraffe pole down and swapped the hose and trigger on to an old Harris pole, a bit short but lighter and hopefully more useable then the old one as it was about as much use as chocolate fire guard.
Will keep a look out for a cheap carbon pole.
