If you have a customer who wants a one off, or a first clean, would you charge more and how much more?

I dont do 1 off's but if i did id charge double. for a first clean i dont charge any extra as see it as the investment clean into keeping that customer for the forseeable future..

Double my 2 monthly price for one offs. No extra if a first clean unless in a really bad state.

I kinda know when a customer is 100% and in that case probably won't charge more. If I have any suspicion I charge 50% to 100% more.

There is no SHOULD - charge what you feel most comfortable with, this way you'll deliver the price with confidence, and pick up more work.

1 off = bespoke, you will unlikely see this customer again, or maybe in several months at best. Would you like all your customers to be like this ?

It's not just the time on the glass, but getting there, fitting it in etc....

1 off work is 3x a regular 4 wky clean, majority of first cleans are 2x the regular clean, unlike mick I'm far too sceptical to believe it's an investment, first cleans are an intensive clean that take longer than a reg clean and are priced accordingly, however I frequently offer a loyalty bonus where the sixth clean is 1/2 price

I think that's a really good idea. Do you give them a loyalty card or just log it yourself so you know when the 6th clean is? Genuine question, not taking the mick. Thanks.

As if you would  ;)

As if I care  ;D I can always take good hearted banter just look at the window vac thread ...

Basically, we put a note on the job, when sfive cleans are done we charge half price, for the most part the custy has forgotten, so it comes as a nice little surprise!

Always make sure you do it, nothing worse than looking like your trying to wriggle out of an offer

One off? At least double, maybe more.

1st clean? Between +50% and double.
It's a game of three halves!
