On a separate note, be careful leaving a electric heater on over night if youve got a gas tank sat in there...a motorhome went up not far from you Dean did you hear about it? Massive explosion from gas tank and took out part of the house it was parked next to.Might be an idea to lift out gas if leaving a heater in over night.
I would have thought that switching the gas off at the gas bottle would be sufficient. You are required to switch the gas bottle off each time you move the van.Of course, you could only fit a froststat to a heater that was vented out through the van's roof.
I would say oil would be best and cheapest to run.I have an immersion on a timer. Comes on about 3 - 4 in morning. Van is toasty when i go out lol
