See what others say then. Ours came with different filters and instructions. Instructions said use the corrugated paper card one for dry vaccuming and use the sponge one for wet/damp vaccuming. Made sense to me.

What to do with the Nilfisk-

Wrap them around the main filter & hold them in place with a bit of gaffer tape. This doesn't restrict suction but does mean you can pull it off & put a clean one back on & the main filter remains clean- meaning you can work longer. Works a treat. ;)
