How long did it take you to build a round

How long did it take you to build a round large enough to make a decent income enough to call a full time job. I been doing it for a year now an im about half way there, is that about average?

Ive been doing it 7-8 years and im only 2/3 rds of the way upto my ideal full round... it takes time

Make sure your doing all you can to pick up new work.... and plug away, it wont come to you , not quick anyway ...  but the works out there

First year or two is hard  , i dont think id of managed if i wasnt living at home when i started in my late teens

Keep pluggin away !

That's good going Roy, it all depends on how many guys are working in the areas your targeting and how
good these guys are.
When I started up there wasn't a lot of spare capacity as there are a couple of fairly big window cleaning
companies in my area plus plenty of two man bands.
Luckily for me these big companies didn't do a very good job so taking work from them wasn't a problem.
Would say I had an almost full round in about two years.
