Red wire goes to the + ( with a fuse ) on your leisure battery and black goes to your -

Blue wire goes to the black wire on your pump

and brown wire goes to your red wire on your pump

I did this for someone who wanted to connect a Shurflo pump up to a Varistream Controller. The wires from your controller may be a different colour.

Slightly different if you have a Spring controller - pressure switch is wired in.

just checking,       how the hell did wagga burn his out then    when wiring his up in his youtube videos,  van mount set-up
whats the reason 2 red wires are clipped securelly into the shurflo pump head.     leave them 2 alone and just concentrate on the 2 loose wires to connect to the controller,

thanks guys

got leisure battery today,      what a weight.     is it right you should remove the terminal covers and store outdoors for safety,   states a fire could be caused if you leave covers on battery

Wagga got his polarity wrong on his controller. Easiest and quickest way to damage it.

This is a link to the Spring manufactured controls http://www.springltd.co/node/44

As above the control is designed to operate with the pump pressure switch in line. Please do ensure you fit a fuse in line between the battery and control on the positive (Red)
