What kind of price would you say for this gutter vac job I'm used to doing 3 bed semi at £50 or the odd pub for £120 but this is a biggy. Has anyone done similar jobs and how much.

Your tools ain't cheap to do the job, plus it will be a ladder less site.  That's the way I would go with it.

You can give a discounted rate because it's volume.

Your only going to be doing that job on any given day, so charge a full day rate (what you make on a good window cleaning rate) then add 50% because it's a specialist one off job.

Price you stated above looks ok, still a little lean to me, but your the one doing it.

Good news is 70% of it will most likely be empty 😄

I can see £250 worth just what's in the pic, maybe double that for the job? What about the downspouts, how are you going to check them? The gutters that go into a corner over the entrance; are they easily accessible? Parked cars could be a PITA.

If the job will need you to postpone regular window cleaning, then price it high to make it worth your while. In my experience, it's no good fitting in 'extras' and putting regular work on hold unless you charge well above what you would normally make on that day. Or do it on a weekend?

If it's going to take you a day or more I'd at least double that to £300.

Have you explained to the customer the full details of the service you are providing? Doing so will make it more likely that they will accept the quote as they can see the benefits more.

Just seen the picture on you're original post. It's the Holiday Inn mate - I'd be quoting at least 500 notes for that. In your quote play massively on the health and safety factor and how you're fully health and safety compliant.

I'd also give them a couple of options to choose from, eg:

Option 1: Cleaning of all internal guttering and clearance of any blocked down pipes.
Option 2: All of the above + cleaning of external guttering.

I'd also enquire about the window cleaning for the site. They may already have one but what if he is trade and can't do all the glass or if they are just not happy with his service. A one off job could then become a regular just by asking the question. We all leave money in the table by forgetting to ask these questions from time to time.

Done a care home on Friday gutters, took about 2 hours off a ladder £180 easy !!! Don't know how you vac lovers would have done it as there's netting laying in the gutters.

I would agree, I can see about £200 or £250 worth of work in the front.  What I can see should take about 3 hours, as long as its not got grass growing out all over the place

I normally charge 5 quid a metre if it to high then let them go with the lowest price. I always inspect the gutter from the end of each length by ladder or camera if this is not possible. Its a lot of work so cheap I don`t do.

Using your gutter vac eliminates the cost of expensive hire equipment (£300 a day ish)

Factor that into your pricing. I'd be going in wanting to get at least £400 a day on that sort of work. I reckon the total jobs got to be worth around £2k judging by the size of the front
