threat from other windy
« on: November 13, 2014, 02:11:13 pm »
Had a load of flyers dropped all off and had a good response.
I was trying to have an afternoon sleep :) when this other window cleaner phones me. " hi you've dropped off a load of flyers and doing one of my cleans" I replied "WHAT" He repeated and said I was cleaning no 46 **** Its my clean, don't do it anymore OK. . So I said " there is no such thing as my house and I can clean where ever I beep want to clean. " ok, if you want to play at that game"
The only thing that bothers me, is he can YELL my address. Not much he can do face to face :)

Sounded more like a threat that he's going to try and clean some of yours rather than a violence threat

Only do one very small house front for £6 every 2 weeks on that street. My cheapest clean :) don't see how he can take my cleans. I get every ones left overs and charge more :)

He cant take your cleans full stop, you can only lose a clean by not offering value for money.
So as long as you are not massively over priced and doing a reasonable job then you have nothing to
worry about.
If he threatens violence then report him to the police and make sure he knows it, this normally puts the
nob heads off.

there is no such thing as my house

There is; I live in my house.  Or is this some Buddhist thing I don't understand?

But yeh, you get the odd idiot; just ignore and work on.

You live in a house with two women and you think it's your house? Dream on!  ;D

PEOPLE GET NERVOUS WHEN NEW CLEANERS MOVE IN,   they seem to forget how they got these houses to clean when he was starting out.        some forget you have to realise if your crap you will loose customers,    usually when new cleaners work in there areas.   or if they charge too high price as well.

you cannot canvass because someone else might be working in that area.

if the police are involved so also may the benefits department,       explain this to him.

maybe like scotland we should all be licenced,     get rid of some ,who have no expenses to pay out.

That's more my way of thinking. 17 year old daughter says phone the police LMFAO silly girl. I may be 49 but still an aggressive person  :o
The windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Ill ask him next time, if he sacked old windy. I think custy sacked him ages ago and nobody else is in that area......UNTILL NOW  :D
