Brushes good - service, is beyond a joke.

Although Tecbuk brushes are fab at cleaning, for some of the guys they are too fragile in as much the bristles curl out of shape in a few weeks.

Gardiners mixed medium is the best all rounder when weight, scrubbing power and longevity are taken into account

Water genie is good for scrubbing if you sand the stock down to nearly minimal for lightness. The one with the blue inner bristles and mono filament outer black bristles. Bit like the extreme version from gardiners but more scrubbing power.

No idea what the weight is but I got it down to similar of the extreme with an electric sander and it has same bristle types as gardiner extreme (blue +black) but with a bigger footprint surface area for scrubbing and best of all the bristles don't fall out because the stock is built to last.

Use the green unger brush a little bit weighty which I find is better as the poles arnt as flimsy.. Used Gardiners brushes even the hard bristle ones and personally for me found them not good for getting birds mess and other marks off, went through to much water constantly scrubbing with them. The unger brush gets off stubborn marks in half the time less scrubbing and also use these with hot water and last for years

I've never had or seen a single bristle move out of place on the tecbuk? Only on the black brush when used with hot. Never on the hybrid.

You can see pictures of tecbuk hybrids a year old and looking brand new.

Brushes are a personal thing. I like the Gardiner xtreme medium mixed but others don't.
So for me its the Xtreme medium mixed every time.
Unfortunately it took me a few quid's worth in wasted brushes to find this out.
But to be honest I have never used any brush yet that couldn't do the job so like I have said it all depends on
what you want from it.

The quicker Alex brings out the new Extreme brushes the better, I have only been using my latest Extremes for a couple of months and already the bristles are deformed and don't get into the corners.

Do we have any information on the new Gardiner brushes?

Best brush ever for every day use. :)

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/The-Super-Lite--Radius-Sill-Brush-Dual-Trim-Stiff-Bristles-BRUSH_SILL_DT_STIFF.html

surely not a stiff bristle version tho? even gardiners agreed with me that it isn't the best for every day use
