Newbie type question alert
« on: November 10, 2014, 05:40:14 pm »
So will be getting a new machine next year .. prob qwashers 21ltr job ... if I decided not to go van mount with it but use it on floor level would I still be able to use a tank mounted in van to feed it .... does the height of the tank compared to the washer create a problem ?

Ian

The machine will draw from the tank. It can be on the ground, next to the tank or some configuration of the two.

You can (ideally) have a bottom feed but it will draw from a supply hose dropped into the top.

Better to be fed from the bottom of the tank but the machine should have a 3/4 inch inlet hose.

Yeah you'll be fine mate. I would recommend gravity feeding it though.  If you do it that way the extra height will help pump draw water. If you put suction hose in top then it will still draw water,  but your pump will be fighting extra gravity to suck the water.
