Can anyone recommend a good set up to use from a car (vauxhall zafira) so a decent size.  Maybe a trolley system...?
Its not full time just an add on to carpets.  Be happy making £100/200 a month so dont want too many customers. (yet!)

I know plenty who have done it. It's not for me, but yes you can.

Have a compact ro system set up at home, then just go out to work with water barrels, backpack, and a pole.

find out the pay load if your gonna use trolly system. then weight with fuel and pasenger and tools etc,not forgetting your self

A volvo estate works well, a guy on here has a £25 min charge and does £500 a day on average using his harris pole all from a volvo estate.

Personally wouldn't go this route, at best buy a small trailer and add a tank reel and pump, or have barrels and backpack.

Less lifting/easier access this way, and unlikely to ruin the inside of your car

obviously ideal world use a van, if not your zafira will work
If you need it for other reasons apart from window cleaning
you can use barrels and get a pump box with pump battery and controller
and get a reel of microbore and use as a mini van system.

Or buy a backpack or do both..get some rubber matting to cover areas
being used(spills etc)

I use an astra estate carries 8 barrels in boot easily enough so you
will have no problem with zafira.

There's a 17 year old kid I speak to who does just shops in central Brighton who has just passed his test and has just bought an Astra Estate.

He's up at 4.30 am every morning and at work by 5.30am. Done by 10am. Ye Gods.

If you don't want much work find some oap bungalows and do them trad .Can be done out back of car I am using a mondeo estate at mo after being stitched up with last van. I use a home made trolley and 4 barrels trarpaulin in back to protect boot or you could use a ladder

Trolley or backpack be ideal for you with some barrels...you dont need a van especially with the low amount of work you plan to do.

A van of course is nice but your Zafira will be fine. I used to use a ford galaxy, only reason i got rid was because it was thirsty, 2.3 petrol oops lol

Use one of those plastic truffs the builders use to mix plaster in as a base so as to catch  the water leaks you might have. A Lad in my area used one and just had a pump and small 12 v battery 12 amp hour which be charged from the liter unit in the car/ He had the water in four 25 liter drums with the hose through the lid of one which he changed when empty.

Iv worked out of allsorts lol, i had a trailer on the back of a Suzuki swift sport lol
Had a trolly in a stripped out Renault clio
A mk3 Astra estate also went out for a day in the galexy in the pic all were simple enough and worked just fine tho the Clio was a bit of a joke. I got into using vans just out of personal preference and im now working alot more than i used to. Tho if something happened to my van id have no problem using an estate car for a period of time
