Can you tell the difference?
« on: November 05, 2014, 01:04:49 pm »
Just received a new batch of Unger pre-cut 12" squeegee rubbers from a supplier off Ebay.
Please see attached picture.
The one on the left is a high quality WCW supplied Unger rubber, the other is from the Ebayer who assures me they are genuine pre-cut rubbers direct from Unger.  ::)roll

Looks like they cut them with a saw.

I'm sure we got had by cleaning spot last month,  Ordered 20 Moerman blades 10 came with the logo on as normal and 10 had no logo at all.

Maybe he ran out of your size and cut the 42" down

The rubbers have been badly cut and what the photo doesn't show clearly is that the edge has also been cut at an angle.
I like mine cut square to get right into the window edge which is why I buy the pre-cut variety.
Any fool can take a long length of squeegy rubber and cut it badly (me included).  :P
The Ebayer is a shyster and doing exactly the above but selling them as pre-cut by Unger which clearly they aint as they wouldn't pass QC.

I don't know Sean, it has the Unger logo and Hard stamped on it.
I'll probably end up binning them if they perform how I think they will and buy from WCW which are always quality.
I just done the post to show that you don't always get what you think you are buying, I only took the picture because the seller requested that I send him a photo after I moaned about it.
Not heard a peep out of him since.  ::)roll

When im tradding i change every couple of days- but thats full days , so id imagine if you are only doing half hr a day with it perhaps every couple of weeks ? or sooner if it gets a nick in it obviously
