I just put a roll of Purefreedoms Bright green hose on my reel 
I've never seen hose twist like it. Had to drive down to the local football pitch to try and stretch it out - can't see me having a record day tomorrow somehow.

i had the same problem with brand new thermobore which had been coiled up on a reel for 6 months dave.

it was ok  after  the first couple of hours with hot water pumping through it.

Me and the Mrs drove to an industrial estate to put my last hose on. Off she walks with the end while I sit and have a smoke. I attach it while she's still up the road. Ok I shout, I start reeling it in and I'm thinking fook me this is hard going. The silly cow was still holding onto it as I was reeling in. I shout drop the cnutting thing ya mare and she's going WHAT I CAN'T HEAR YOU. Blond bint!
