« on: October 28, 2014, 03:12:25 pm »
probably a question for Alex but somone else may know, my new slx is similar to my clx in that it feels like its been wrapped with tape whereas an old 2nd hand slx i got feels smooth down the shaft, are the new ones wrapped with some sort of tape?

They all feel 'rough' to start with but they wear smooth with time.

It's probably just the carbon fibre wrapping. My MKI slx is different to my latest slx in finish.

cheers fella, i just thought as my old clx didnt seem to wear smooth like the old slx but i only had it 4-5 months so probably not long enough.
was wondering if they'd change the design over time.

Alex is the best man to reply to this, but we have noticed a difference in pole design over the years.
