£5000 per week below this and you would be better off working in Mc Donalds.

One thousand pounds a day between two men, Mick Kent can do £600 in 4 hours on his own and he has realised
that most of his work is under priced.

50 front only town houses at £10 a throw and all in the same street each day?

Work it out for yourself.

All depends on the area n prices. Some of the stuff i read on here about earnings is pie in the sky.

A 2 man set up realistically should be doing £300 a day.

That's what id want if I was employing two guys, that means after wages and costs your still left with a nice amount.

I am up "norf" though, so prices seem to be a lot less than in other areas.

Mate honestly, you are obsessed with me!
Apart from the thread where i took the p saying £600/650 a day where have i ever said that??
I clean 30 fronts over a 5/6 hour day which i find quite easy which would equivelent to 15 full houses which most established guys do as a minimum for a day. If your to thick to work out how easy that is instead of making me out to be an idiot or a lier then i pitty you as you cant be the full ticket! id hate to see how in bad condition your business is in for you to keep attacking me?.!

If you cant answer that question you probably dont have the work or are at that point,

Its different for everyone , but surely the answer is enough to pay expenses , wages, tax vat? and make a profit , how much profit depends on you at the circumstances of the area and business.
Its a headache having staff and running it all so it wants to be worthwhile for the hours you put in

I reckon the £300 quoted is the bare minimum for two guys and a vehicle .

Probably gonna want to get another £50 - £100 a day to start seeing a reasonable profit

But it all depends if you are paying two lads "self employed " £50 a day

Or employing properly paying , and paying VAT etc

Id be working on 65% of what a single operator can earn so £200 for 1 man becomes £330 for 2 guys ....  £250 becomes £412.

when or if im ever in a position to do this I still think I would go 1 man 1 van so 2 x £200 is £400 which is £70 more than 2 men 1 van or on 20 day month £1400 more .... which will more than cover extra van running costs

working on low figures compared to some on here but you get the idea  :)

Personally speaking for it to be worthwhile I'd want two guys working for me doing min £550 per day.

In my experience thats not far off the mark.

Although the extra expenses involved (vehicle, equipment, water etc) are not the only things that needs to be considered as to whether its worthwhile or not. There can be a lot of headache employing, its not just financial cost that you incur.

Mick you did say it, 60 £10 fronts or 24 £10 fronts in under an hour, OK you did state that these where your best days earnings and
you didn't achieve this daily.
But fair enough it does look as if I'm attacking you personally so I wont bring it up again.

But that could only be 18 windows and 6 doors. On modern semis/terraced that wouldn't be difficult.
