Quoting up tomorrow
« on: October 23, 2014, 06:10:36 pm »
I've got to quote a shop tomorrow...
It needs cleaning 3 times a week plus once a month the signs outside I don't normally do town shops how do you guys go about quoting them. It's 5 shop windows and x2 double doors.
12 cleans a month say what £100 maybe or more?

I think your being a bit optomistic with that...it will be more like half of what you have quoted or even less  ..unless you have a load of shops to do all together then there really not worth getting involved with

Just put a price in that you are happy with.

Contrary to opinion on here there are still some shops / chains that are willing and do  pay more than a few quid per clean.

To drive into the town 3 days a week it's hardy worth doing being the only shop I'd be cleaning.. Be £10 per visit minimum for me.

ive passed jobs like this on to other window cleaners in the past and will do again.

they are just not worth cleaning unless you have lots of shops grouped together IMO.
price higher/work harder!

The phrase ringing the head office equates to checking with hubby/wife on domestic.

Very unlikely to hear from them ever again

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
