Steve, it's far inferior to the stuff you will get off suppliers, but fine to use as whip lengths off your 2 inch pipe.

I have used a 10 meter pool hose for 8 months now for those end of tenancy cleans, bearing in mind they are designed to suck up water in great capacity so are surprisingly tough.
nice bright blue colour 8) However when I tried a piece as an exhaust tail on my ninja it fell appart quickly so not good for heat  :P But I should have known that silly me

How long to the (quality) hoses last? I've been rotating 3 x 25m for well over two years now - still going strong, but I'm expecting one to split on me sometime soon!

One has to be very careful when ordering vacuum hoses that "look like" the common vacuum hoses used in our Industry.

A lot of hoses used in the Pool Industry are actually, "Blow Molded" (process of manufacturing) and are a great --copy of----the real thing.

Yes, it will crush easily with any extreme vacuum pressure, and or used as a exhaust hose.

Best to all;

Who needs a 1.5" whip hose. 2" hose is perfectly usable in all situations
