It's an adapted tile & grout tool nothing about it is special, my personal opinion without actually use it is that's it will overwet the carpet
Because unlike a normal wand or power tool the water is sprayed a good 12-16 inches in front of the vacuum pick-up so has a lot more time to penetrate downwards into the carpet

I think the same as you Mike but there is only one way to find out.
Buy it and try it.

A clever man would buy it and find out for himself.... A wise man would allow someone else to buy it then ask them
But the design is simple enough to realise the flaws in it without going to the expense of buying one, although it has the design to over-wet this doesn't mean when it's hooked up to a powerful vacuum source ( I would suggest a truckmount) it won't perform well.
And the flow & pressure required to spin the bar will make it in usable with a portable unless it has autofill

Jamie could be even wiser and tell you it's carp when in reality it's the best tool in the world, or become the distributer.

There are already sources for Hydroforce machines.
I want to see for myself how it compares to my tried and tested LM methods when it comes to productivity.
Its not something we would actually use. Unless it is useful for high flow rug cleaning.

Have you ordered it direct from the States. I have found that doing that you end up paying more than the item in shipping costs and import duty. For example Ive just ordered a couple of valves from a supplier in the States, thieir total cost for the two is just over $19.., shipping and import duty comes to almost $21..

We import quite a bit of stuff from the States Dave so know exactly what you mean.
It has arrived and here are the first pics. There was no machines/TMs in the building today to trial it out yet.
Will report back when I get the chance.

Tony Abbott still has one down in Essex (I don't think it was on his van when it got pinched) if its the same he really rated it with a truckmount

Its a long time ago now...but I have a feeling that the water flow turned the jets.
Tony used it last year on school carpeting and said he had forgot just how good it was
