Hi Can anyone recommend a descent pole hose to use my all season from gardiners has had it??

Not on the hot wash systems just standard stuff.

We use the lime green high viz 8mm stuff from Pure Freedom. Had it on the reels for around 8 months now with no complaints at all, and people definitely see it laying across paths!!

I think we paid £47 per 100m roll.

The all season has been good through the summer it's really soft and no coils.
It there orange hose any good or to stiff?

I much prefer the Orange hose the all season is far to soft.

Aquadaptor hose is excellent as well

same.both aqua-daptor hose and gardiners orange PU hose lasts ages!ive had some for over 2 years.still going strong.ive even been using gardiners orange hose with just the male connector pushed in on the end with hot water(no clip)and it hasnt popped off!

I hated the all season stuff, forever getting tangled, reverted back to streamline lite 5
Very hard wearing used with cold water,, seems to stay more flexible in winter too
But not  compatible with gardiners push fit taps etc. which is why its not so popular imo
You can buy barbed inserts though

That's what I use but it certainly picks up the crap. I can't remember the smooth hose being this bad.

yeah, theres always a downside  
Slightly off topic but I took aquadapters idea of the hoseless pole and adapted the idea to my smax 40 so the lite 5 hose is removed after jobs and easier to clean down. The smax 40 is all I have, serves as 3 poles - 1 section for ground floors, approx 25ft for most of my residential and add the final 3 sections for the occasional high stuff

I was moaning to myself today about Gardiners twisty rubbish hose. Then realised I had another brand on 

I have a box full of different flavour hoses - none of them very good. Trouble is I can't remember why I dumped them all in the box. Tell a lie - Aquadapter hose was so bad I couldn't even get it in the box - frigging useless stuff!

I use gar diners all season yellow hose but have to say,mine is constantly a mess I have to untangle it after each job,is it me or the hose,but I have to say I keep it connected to my hose reel all the time via rectus 21 fittings as I found if I disconnected it after each job the fittings would leak after a couple of months,by not disconnecting the rectus fittings don't leak,I'm 6 months in with the same fitting,and no leake,is this the price I pay for not disconnecting the hose after each job ,and is this causing the pole hose to be constantly tangles

Ditto, but a couple of times every day I disconnect and stretch the hose out and rotate it to the left several times - works fine again for a while.

Same here, I use Gardiners orange pu, great for kinking the flow, but coils up a lot, so I disconnect a lot and 'straighten' the hose. End up with leaks if I leave connected after a few weeks, so it has to be disconnected after every job to save on the leaks.
