Gear stolen / car broken in to!
« on: April 12, 2006, 12:08:08 am »
Well what a day!

Just gone out to pick the Missess up from town, taken the car parked up and locked car etc......gone for 5 mins no more!

Come back rear window smashed, hatch back up and window cleaning stuff that was in boot is gone! :'(

No ladders or anything, but my belt system, all my buckets, 2 new sqeegies and some GG3 liquid are all gone.........god knows what the theifs are going to do with that lot!.

Police gave a crime ref number and then said - never mind your insurance will pay for it, i doubt it the excess doesnt make it worth claiming.

Im very upset, its been a bad day lost two customers and now this.....and the worst part is in needed those buckets for tomorrow!

David.
You have email.  I may have a few spare hand tools as a stopgap for a few days.
Also, there is Southern Counties Janitorial in Ifield Road, West Green (near The Crown) if you need emergency supplies (I think they close Wednesday afternoons).  Another one is JP Supplies in Spindle Way, Three Bridges (off Haslett Avenue near the old Leisure Centre).

If all else fails you can always try B&Q.  I think they do the ettore bucket kits with washer, squeegee, cleaning fluid - and of course bucket.

Thank you to everyone that offering to lend me some of their gear, it was really nice of all of you.

I actually went and bought a load of new stuff today  :-[ from the place recommended by Shinner in Ifield Road, West Green.......the bloke in the shop was real helpful.

Again many thanks to all.........oh and for everyones info the Police called me this afternoon to say 6 cars were broken into last night and they think the same people did it .....watch this space if i have to go to court over this ill keep you all posted.
