Hose adaptor is leaking?
« on: October 19, 2014, 03:51:07 pm »

This leaks, is this normal?    The black plastic thingee which attaches to the wfp was dragged along the ground and got a bit scratched (I have only used my poles and trolley once) so don't want to damage it more!   Any advice?

Didn't show before looks like you need jubilee clips or o clips on the hoses

If it's leaking in the actual connector then it might be a bit of dirt in it, if there's an o ring wipe it over with silicone grease for a better seal, failing that leaky joints can be just part of the job, change them as and when

It looks a bit made up of several pieces, can you separate the connector, if so is there an o ring ??

Or the threads may nipping up a bit r/h end or where the black angled piece goes into the brass part

Maybe show it to hose shop and ask them if they can fix it.   Don't know what an O ring is.
