The 1.6 is "apparently" (dont shoot the messenger) very troublesome, i happened to look into it myself the other day and a lot of reviews theyve been trouble, i asked my mechanic and he said whatever you do dont get 1.6. Go for 2.0 every day.

Was that the same mechanic that fitted solid springs on the back of your combo to add 50hp and allow you to carry an extra ton in weight ? Hehe sorry couldn't resist
You could fit titanium springs if you like still not alowed to carry more weight lol. But hey we all do it I used to have 700 litre in a ibc in a Peugeot expert that's pretty rum lol

Same one but only springs to carry a little extra, no extra horses sadly

One of my last springs snapped, these ones are twice the thickness as last ones, they are off a higher payload van, springs and shocks have been upgraded...im not carrying more than before, but i think they will allow me to carry more yes. Like i said im not carrying any more than before, just more comfortable with these. Van sits a lot higher now than before. Much better.

Ah tidy :) im a bit funny about over weight vans lol its because I got pulled in by a copper and took me to the nearest weigh bridge and he said if I had a butty box in the van id be screwed that close lol. The fines are huge and they confiscate the vehicle and do further inspections. Not sumat il ever risk again lol that was with a 400 litre tank and a few tubs to in an expert van :(
