I was on top of a massive - really wet 'n' slippy - pergolia roof; it was huge (it is a part of a garden centre); shimmying about on a scafolder's plank, with pole in hand today.

That was probably dodgier than what that bloke is doing.

He wouldn't need to go to those lengths. He could just tell his custard he doesn't clean windows above porches. Or windows above porches held in with wall-bolts. Or windows in walls for that matter.
