Numatic NPR1515 Help
« on: October 17, 2014, 07:48:28 am »
Good morning everyone.
My trusted Numatic NPR1515 floor buffer that I use for agitation decided to stop working on me yesterday mid job. Basically it stopped rotating although when tilting the machine back and trying it does still spin albeit not at a great speed.
Can anyone help me with with what I might need to do to fix this?
Kind Regards,
Rich.

Check for breaks in the cable and the plug where the cable goes into the motor.

Sounds like the capacitor gone. A fiver from Maplins.

Thanks Kinver_Clean someone else mentioned to me that it might be a run capacitor so I will take a look on the Maplin site. I did take the casing off and there is four different pieces so hopefully it will be it.

Thanks for the comment John. Cable is all ship shape and is plugged in solid I was hoping there might have just been a loose connection but no such luck.
