I can only clean WFP - trad cleaning is out of the question, they'd look worse than before I turned up.

Generally I consider myself a WFP window cleaner - however if push came to shove I could just about get by I suppose with a squeegee and mop.

I would consider myself a wfp cleaner but can use a mop and squeegee, the problem for me would
be speed as Iv never got round to mastering fanning.
This will have to change as I intend to employ in the near future and will be working using traditional methods on lower floors and wfp on the uppers.

I haven't voted, and would qualify this by saying that I am 100% trad, and have no inclination to change this. I get decent results doing it my way, and I am happy to keep things the way they are, but do not want to be condescending by saying the wfp guys aren't cleaning, but only brushing glass. It is an alternative method which clearly works, but one which I choose not to buy into. Personal choice, plain and simple.

Great reply john, your a trad guy but you can appreciatte wfp works, from what I've read over various topics a lot of trad guys Seem to think wfp doesn't work or do a good a job or something?
Maybe there should have been anouther option in the poll like I can read but I just use the same dirty wet scrim on various homes all day and don't wipe frames or sills as I've seen many that actually do this!!
I personally can do both and do both to a high standard however I think if done right wfp is better it gets in all gaps in frames under sill etc that you can't get to with scrims and micro's plus it's generally safer!

Well you can but you know what I mean and its twice as quick to get a brush in there, could you imagine trying to flick all the years worth of diet out of some gaps under sills with a micro, you'd be changing micros in the van every job with that much dirt on some of them, brush you can flick it out and use the jets to force it out too!
If your wfp you'll know what I mean

Only on first cleans, after that your cleaning one or two months worth of dirt from the frames which is very little.
But both methods will clean the glass and frames to the same standard if done right, it just depends on which method
you prefer to work with.

I'm really fast at both. 25 years trad left and right handed, and 5 years wfp.
