You dont have to broadcast the fact that you're not employing someone because of their age.

Correct.

No one will ever know as long as you don't tell them and don't say stuff like that on publicly accessible mediums.

And like I said it's unlikely to ever be a problem anyway.

Saying it isnt illegal on any medium, public or private.

Yep, I'm 49 and you can't do it all on your own.
My advice is get someone in their late twenties or early thirties. Train them up, pay them a decent wage and look after yourself.

Whats up with you guys? you are old before your time!! I'm 48 and seem to be able to do more now than I could in my twenties!!  :)

i prefer working on my own.less stress.lots of flexibility and you know the job will be done properly.

in fact i pick up work due to the fact i dont have lots of employees and i charge a premium for this on large properties that have been cleaned previously by groups of lads who dont do a good job or respect the property being worked on.

ive picked up some good paying jobs lately from a local window cleaning firm who have been letting themselves down due to rude employees, bad customer relations etc.

i used to have guys working with me years ago.none lasting longer than a few weeks.2 of em tried to canvass my work saying id packed up.one stole some money off me.some are jealous of your round/work and most missed windows out or did a crap job as soon as my back was turned.

never again for me ever.
price higher/work harder!

You do like to change your mind from time to time, so I expect you will be employing in the next couple o weeks then. :P

That plus if Dazmond's history is to be believed, can you imagine the sorts of people he would have employed?  ;D

Over the last few years I have employed about 5 or 6 people had one guy for 18 months it is worth it its just the time it take to find the right guys its a filtering process I heard one person say once for every good worker they had to go through about 4 or 5 just stick with it and it will pay off eventually I'm sure!
