how did i not come to that conclusion,   to be honest i thought they were both soft anyway, , people say they use soft for certain times of year,  others change for colder weather

I just use soft all year around, but like you say some use hard in summer and soft in winter.

Soft is for colder temps. I use 'em all year too. Throw any green ones you have in the bin mate.

+1 with Cozy on the green Unger rubbers load of rubbish. I find the hard rubbers leave clumps of soap when squeegee ing so always stick to soft, Etore are probably the best but more expensive, I bought the black soft unger ones and they work a treat. (Cleaning Spot ) too buy from ....

Agree on the Unger Green......it just wears so fast...the edge seems to fray....rubbish.
