protecting jacket fabric

I have a so called waterproof craghopper jacket but while wearing it yesterday got caught in a really heavy down poor and got pi** wet through, just wondering if applying my fabric protector would help, I cant see why not but just wondered if anyone has done this

Yes it will help. Best one for this is the Craftex solvent based aerosols.

Yes the craftex aerosols are good I purchased three off john in july to protect a four seater and two seater sofa that we had just purchased

I do my fishing bivvys every year using craftex solvent protector through a electric sprayer.
