cheap 100psi pumps...worth the money??
« on: October 07, 2014, 04:54:53 pm »
The question is, as above....i've seen loads of very cheap 100psi pumps on fleabay but are they up to the job?
I need fair water pressure at about 35-40 ft. I will only be using the pole about 2 days a month for about 4-5hrs at that height ,total.  All advice and comments are of course very welcome.
...whether you think you're right, or whether you think you're wrong....you're right! HENERY FORD..........it's all in the mind guys....

I always say you get what you pay for, a 100 psi shurflo pump will last you years but for the sake of 2 days work a month maybe these cheapies are worth it, how cheap are they ? got a link ?

Your best bet is to stick with what is the best and what will last. Your just going to get problems down the line for the sake of a few quid.

Plus one soupy

I used similar for a set up last year, they lasted 4 weeks, the replacements lasted 4 weeks...

The loss of time, with the van having to return to base, wait the day for new one to arrive cost way way more than a shurflo pump

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
