Honest opinions?
« on: October 02, 2014, 06:48:25 pm »
I'm currently using Round tracker software at the moment, what are the opinions of Window Cleaner Planner?
In need better software for rescheduling etc.
I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.

I trialled it and thought it was very good. However I'd already bought Aworka which isn't bad but probably lags behind a little. Get what you pay for.

george is very good and inexpensive esp if you download pocket george and can find a decent PDA for it.great software for the price.very easy to organize your work schedule, print off end of year accounts, etc, etc.

it takes me about a minute to bluetooth hotsync my PDA to laptop when i arrive home after the days work. ;)
price higher/work harder!

The best thing about cp and why it's so good is rob listened to window cleaners and built the program for them to run a window cleaning biz.

He constantly develops and refines this by users comments and experiences something no other software company has done.

Your not getting something a programmer thinks you want, but what the users need and ask for.

We use hudl tablets so can be totally paperless

Daz - George is like trad cleaning to cp WFP mate, you need to give it a whirl, George is just to basic for this day and age

Going through invoices today I stumbled across Buckit.co.uk ??? oh I forgot about them!
Fecking useless, wouldn't reply to a problem I had where some work couldn't be accessed. In the end I cancelled my contract. Just searched and there is no trace of them? has anyone else used them.

I asked Rob about a condensed worksheet print out, as we would prefer to work off paper (I feel this is quicker than faffing with tech throughout the day). He had it done within 24 hours.

Couldn't recommend this software enough, as I've been a 'problem' customer as I'm useless with tech and asking all sorts do questions, like Pure H2o has.

Given up on Aworka updates. I have asked Chris specifically for some, although PayPal integration was brought in fairly quickly that's it. There have been half a handful this year on top of this, generally revolving around the layout of the different function boxes on the main page or colours of different jobs. Hardly rocket science are they to be honest. If you're going to get an update you want it to benefit the business, make it more efficient, offer an extra facility, not to be concerned with the layout of varying functions on the website.

Morning all and thanks for all the kind words :) Here are a few more honest and unedited opinions (and keep meaning to upload more!) www.cleanerplanner.com/testimonials

Stephen - if you fancy taking Cleaner Planner for a spin feel free to sign up for the trial (www.cleanerplanner.com/trial) and email me your Round Tracker sheet. I can then import all your customers and jobs so you can try out the rescheduling options (e.g. drag and drop planner, bulk change due), create some worksheets and download them to the mobile app so you can see how everything works. I'm more than happy to walk you through things on the phone or email - whatever gets you up and running quickest and easiest.

If anyone else is curious about Cleaner Planner please don't hesitate to sign up for the trial and get in touch if you have any questions.

I can import your data from ANY window cleaning software (including WCP and Excel) so there's no need to reenter all your custy details :)

Any questions feel free to drop me an email rob@cleanerplanner.com

I use round tracker, I sent Rob a copy of it and he exported it onto CP over the weekend. I have been using it a week now and to be honest I can't be bothered looking at the round tracker now.

It's not miles behind but CP is evolving very fast. CP is a bit more expensive. I found CP almost impossible to get to grips with to begin with having come from George. Aworka is similar to George whereas CP works in a slightly different way. You wouldn't go far wrong with either software programme.

CP mobile app is superb - Aworka is next to useless outside of your working day.
