Minimum price for me is now £30. Still waiting for my first call.

I dont see the need in mim prices nowadays. I just work out how long it will take.

I picked up two houses at £5 And £6 both pay direct debit go cardless and both houses WITH drive time take me about 9 mins. Both fronts only and only 5 windows in total. If i had a round like that i would be on £50 an hour and easy work lol

usually set my alarm for three minutes so that when I'm with the customer that talks A lot I can pretend I have a call from a friend. I do it when I feel lonely as well Lol

The banter is the only reason I post on here ;D

Being lonely in this job can be a problem, then I get home the
wife starts jabbering the youngest lad I haven't yet got rid of
to university wants a lift.

Then I realise being on your own all day is fecking brilliant ;D

My minimum price for stopping the van and getting everything out is £7.00, my reason for having a minimum price is for when people say "can you just clean this one window over my conservatory for me please"
Or along them lines, i can reply yep but my minimum charge for anything is £7.00

Min price £10 which is for fronts/flats however i do have some bedsits or "apartments" in central london where i get £20 for 1 simple window that takes seconds to clean which i love doing each month.
I also dry all my fronts with a blade, not sure why as i have faith in wfp 100% but it does make the customer that much more happy that there downstairs is dry and spotless when i leave and for the fact it takes me less than 20 seconds to do i have made it my cleaning routine.

You've been in this game for years, and you always ask newbie questions, most of which are painfully "Newbie" questions by the way. Here's a new idea mate. Turn your PC off and go out and do what we all do, run your business. Bet you'd have questions about how to sell smack to smackheads...... Oh, hang on.  ::)roll

 HTH

No still don't understand, I must be thick

Matt.

Last post was a bit sharp !!!!!!

I do commercial work an my minimum price is £15 per job, this would be a job that's prob done 3 times weekly. - May only take 30 - 40 mins.

Otherwise like others have said whatever u need to earn to satisfy your living.

I have came across a job - absolutely massive and I couldn't rarely give a price, as I feared under cutting myself so I have broken down the job and gave them a hourly price of £25 per hour per window cleaner.
I can't commit myself to a job that would last more than a month every day due to how busy we are, so sign in and out an multiply hours by 25 plus vat.

It's prob not the most professional way of doing things but this is a customer Who understand how busy I am and are most understanding,

I think with houses you can't rarely price them up by the hour it would have to be by the job, but i am 100% commercial so am not the person to advise on domestics.
