Help with pricing job please
« on: September 23, 2014, 05:33:33 pm »
Have just been asked to quote for a care home, this is my first and would
Appreciate any advice on the best way to do this. Looked back at some old
Posts and some guys were quoting a price per window, £1 per window in 2008!!
Is this a good way to come up with a fair price and if so what is the price per
Window at today's rate. Would like to get the job but do not want to go in too
Cheap.
Thanks for any advice guys

Times your hourly rate by how long the job will take.

For example.

£10 per hour x 5 hours = £50

Put a quote in for £50 If you don't want to work too cheap then add a %

Depends on size ... if its a tiddler with 20 windows then ur normal pricing applies .... howerver if its a biggun and all day job then u prob best working on what you want to earn in a day .... remembering no running from job to job

IMHO of course  :)

Depending on regularity of job if it's a full day I would charge £250 as that would come in line with what can be earnt in a day depending on where you live.
I would also say don't let it effect your domestic work as commercial jobs like that will sack you,if someone prices a bit lower, unless you have a contract.
