Afternoon chaps. Just wondering what you do to stop the leaks? I have just fitted metal hoselock adapters to put on the in/out bits of my vessel. I am still getting leaks from between the hoselock and the plastic thread bit that sticks into the lid of the DI. It is all wound up with PTFE tape but is still leaking, giving me a constant drip in the van.Any one got ay fool proof ways of stopping this leaking, or perhaps even a certain type of 'leak free' lid to screw on top of my standard blue vessel?
Old question but still not solved. Ive bought the jointing compound but my question is, the leaking I'm getting is also between the female metal hose lock connectors and the male plastic thread on top of the di vessels. Can i use the jointing compound on something where i take the connection apart frequently, or is it just for connection that stay put?
Why would you put an o ring round a peanut
