I know you're online.
I have a CFR Perfect heat but it had one of the vacuum pumps removed and the electric cable beefed up a little. I cannot remember why the pump was removed but it is pants without it.
Would it be easy enough to stick another one back in?

By vacuum pumps do you mean a vacuum removed? Never worked on a CFR but carpet cleaners are all pretty much straightforward when it comes to changing vacuums and pumps, easier than PW anyway!
The only thing I'd be unsure of it's when you're not doing a like for like replacement (because there is nothing there) and struggling with which wires go where, then I'd be lost.

Think they take lamb ametek vac motors.
Ask on the cc section, someone will own one, only thing I have CFR is a hand tool.

That's exactly my thinking.
The Lamb Ametech - are they doubled up, two off one power cable, I may have two lots in the unit.?

I think they run two off one power cable on that machine and use it as a selling point because the heat generated from the motors apparently heats the water therefore not needing an extra cable to have a heater installed.
Probably why the wire is bulked up, because it's running x2 vacs and a pump!
As with CFR though, they come up with these crazy gimmicks (like the recycling water system) that often don't work.

It's a good system you know it. I'm away over the weekend, I'll get some pics of what I have and underneath and post them up.
If I have to go on the CC section I will but they scare me!
