sebo duo has arrived
« on: September 16, 2014, 10:18:45 pm »
Thanks to info from u lot i have bought myself a sebo duo :)

It turned up today along with 4 X 50g  packets of powder and have used it on my rug in my rented accommodation that had the smell of dog and other people's dirt but now is clean and smells nice and softer to walk on.

Just wanting advice on any do's and donts with the machine and the powder. It doesn't seem to say what ph the powder is although it says it's woolsafe...    I'm assuming if i use on man made fibre i would have to use hot water extraction with corrected ph for the man made fibre?

It's a good little machine for sure but please tell me anything i should know "not " to do

cheers

Why would you be using powder on some thing your going to use water on ?

Why have you bought sebo in the first place? if your are purely going to be using with powders !!

I bought it as a easier and better method of pre treating rather than using my carpet grooming take to agitate the pre spray into the carpets. I never said i was only going to use the powders mate i was just asking for advice on the machine itself and usage of the powders seeing as it comes with 4 packs of the stuff .

I just want to make sure i use the powders the correct way and not damage anyone's carpet or rugs by misusing the stuff!

Hi Cleaner windows,

you do state that "I'm assuming if i use on man made fibre i would have to use hot water extraction with corrected ph for the man made fibre?"

All I was doing was making the point, don't use the powder then use hot water extraction.

The dry powder is fantastic just use your sebo and agitate the majic stuff in and then vac off. A miracle all the soil had instantly been removed from your carpets.
Or you might have some other level of intelligence. Stop ping about get a rug doctor!
