Was cleaning a new shop front today ins and outs, when i was finished i canvassed the other shops.

Went into the butchers and asked "hi there im wondering if your needing a regular window cleaning service"
Her reply "how much"
So i said "well for every 2 weekly inside and ours it will be XXX amount of money"
She replied "well a guy came yesterday and was half that price"

I replied " tesco sells chicken breast half your price but are they the same quality?"
She was lost for words

I wouldnt want a job based on price... I know the guys who will of quoted at that price they are cowboys! I take a lot of work off them due to their poor work, lack of safety and high as a kite on drugs.

I turned up in a sign written van, polos on, work boots, and safety cones outside, of thats not worth the price i give then good luck to them:)

Not sure about shop fronts in UK, but it's easy work here, and I've found the best way to get shops is walk ins with visiting cards. I wright the 2/4 weekly price for each shop on the back of the card and show them that before handing them the card.
I don't wait for an answer, I tell them to call us when the have decided. Takes the pressure of both parties.
