I had option one for years, cost me a small fortune, then I went for option two ! Since 2006 doesn't cost me a bean, my accountant is fine with it and so are hmrc, the only thing is you have to get cheques paid to your name

That's true. HMRC have no issues with it, long as they can see the funds going in/out etc.  I would probably get 4-5 cheques at the most made out in my name from commercial work, but no issues with it from my clients.

did you buy your van from a dealer or was it a private sale ? You said £7200 was that plus vat mate?
By the way what colour is it ? Ive been looking for a red one but most are white or any colour you want but red ! Lol

It was from a dealer in Stockport mate. £7200 all in. It's also in white and the enterprise edition.

Ah ok so you don't have a business account. Just a normal current account that you use for business, that's fair enough. I might start doing the same.

There was nothing underhand about , I had discussed it with the business manager from HSBC
